Fay Burns

Better known as one-half of the nationally-touring, Americana outfit, Escaping Pavement, Fay Burns comes to the solo world with a wealth of newly gleaned life experiences meeting a seasoned-performer’s past. With a voice that’s compared to greats like Rhiannon Giddens and Bonnie Raitt, and intricate guitar arrangements that harken to the likes of Americana heroes such as Buddy Miller and David Rawlings, Burns moves with ease between unexpected and delightful re-workings of popular songs, to emotion-packed originals that can just as easily build into a delightful fervor, as they can bring a tear to your eye. Her witty banter and personable presence bring you in, and make you feel right at home.

Monte Pride

Monte Pride is a Michigan-born, Michigan-based singer-songwriter & fingerstyle guitarist whose songs recall the delicate vocals of Simon & Garfunkel, with guitar-work reminiscent of Nick Drake and The Tallest Man on Earth. He blends haunting melodies with vivid lyricism, bringing stories of love, loss, and longing to life in a complex array of healing, soul stirring song.

Rochelle Clark

A native of Michigan, Rochelle Clark’s music has been described as raw, honest, and beautifully vulnerable. She writes and sings about real life, joy, struggle and human tragedy – you can’t help but feel for the characters in her songs. Leaning heavily on personal experience, she connects on an intimate level that resonates with her audience. As one-half of the acclaimed Americana duo, The Potter’s Field, Rochelle’s powerful vocals have been captivating audiences in Michigan and throughout the Midwest for years. Drawing on her roots in folk, americana, and country, Rochelle has found a sound that is uniquely her own.

Mike Gentry

Dexter-based singer/songwriter Mike Gentry truly treasures the power of music and when he performs, he’s essentially a generator of its empathic energies. Gentry is in his element when he’s sharing his blends of folk odes and Americana-rock ballads with a room of perfect strangers. He appreciates each concert as another opportunity to forge profound connections with his audience through relatable experiences. Gentry has a vibrant personality that makes itself evident in the charismatic banter and anecdotes he shares between songs—and that’s all part of what feeds into the luminosity of his songs and his live sets. His ear-to-ear smile not only offsets some of the poetic catharsis and heart-weary coping manifested in his music, but that eruptive laugh of his represents a gladness—a gladness to be here, with his guitar, affably holding court over a roomful of music lovers.
