Michigan songwriter Jo Serrapere has a very eclectic style. Her influences range from folk music, old blues, jazz, classic country and classic rock. And you will definitely feel something. She will make sure of that.
“I might take a train, I might take a plane, but if I have to walk, I know I’m gonna see Jo Serrapere again. Like anybody else who might make you laugh and cry in the same song, she’s too good to pass up.” – Dave Marsh, music critic, author of Born to Run: The Bruce Springsteen Story and former editor of Creem & Rolling Stone magazines.
Jo is also a current member of the all-female band, Stella! and founding member of Uncle Earl. She has performed her music on many prestigious stages like the Kennedy Center’s Millennial Stage and “A Prairie Home Companion.” Jo will be performing with her band, the Willie Dunns (John Devine, Stuart Tucker & Julianna Wilson).
