ESTHERS exists to prevent the exploitation and trafficking of vulnerable girls and young women both globally and locally. They began pioneering their prevention program in Recife, Brazil in 2006. Located in an extremely vulnerable slum, their community center continues to be a safe place to learn about God, receive counseling and academic tutoring and participate in weekly enrichment classes such as art, cooking, dance and recreation.
In 2019 ESTHERS began laying the ground work to start their next program serving teenage girls and young women in metro-Detroit. Located in Clarkston, ESTHERS Place will be a place to equip vulnerable teenage girls and girls aging out of foster care with the life skills, job training, healing and support system they need to begin a successful transition into adulthood when they turn 18. In partnership with local schools, churches and foster care agencies ESTHERS hopes to fill in the gap for this at-risk population and help prevent them from being a victim of exploitation and trafficking.
Join ESTHERS for this special afternoon of music featuring local artist Danny Cox with special guest Sofia Goetz. All money raised at this concert will help support the work of ESTHERS to End Sex Trafficking for HER!
