Avid lyricist and “think piece” composer Chris DuPont hails from the quirky and eclectic Ypsilanti, Michigan, and is a seasoned veteran of the midwest music scene. His hybrid finger-style approach to guitar-playing is a nod to classical minimalism, but sure to get you nodding your head too. With an unmistakable reedy baritone, an arresting stage presence, and an ear for the cinematic, DuPont steers the classic eloquence and lyricism of 70’s folk/Americana into the irridescent haze of dream pop.
